Why we're big fans

A skincare brand born from the Hawaiian islands. Founded by three young guys who grew up spending long days in the sun and ocean—and learning to care for their skin while doing so—they founded Koa to share the heritage and skincare rituals that they learned at home. Their goal is to use pre-modern Hawaiian philosophies of self-care with modern skincare, to create products that can stand up to multiple environments (Hawaii contains 10 of the world's 14 climate zones) and activities ("from surfing to the subway," they say).
